What “verified” actually means
Getting verified: your college confirms you're a student or alumnus there. There's no payment, and what you submit isn't shown publicly.
- A verified badge that makes every project, contribution, and portfolio claim count.
- Eligibility to enter competitions — some take any verified student, some only their own college's.
- A badge on your profile, and on every team you're part of.
The boundaries we hold
What Craftock deliberately does — and doesn't — do in V1.
Quality before reach
Every competition entry is checked at the door — a verified entrant, their own project, reviewed by Craftock — and scanned for similarity. Near-duplicate ideas are flagged for a human to review — never auto-rejected.
Test-mode funding in the pilot
Crowdfunding shows real goals, fees, and milestone rules. During the pilot, payments run in test mode and no card is charged.
Colleges judge their own
Craftock sets each competition up and keeps a compliance override; the college that runs it verifies its students, judges the entries, and declares the winners.
